Knit Wits Ministry
To Kenya, Ethiopia, Romania, & anywhere something knitted with love is needed!
If you enjoy knitting, crocheting sewing or buying warm caps on sale, this is a ministry for you! We also make scarves and children's dresses.
A Year Around Project . . .
Knit Wits collect and work on these gifts continually. They are carried overseas by those traveling to the country that needs them. The need is great and the ministry in FUN and rewarding - imagine the joy of seeing your cap on a child in Kenya! Along with each "sewed with love" gift, we send our commitment to pray for the one who receives it.
The knitting class: Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. All are welcome.

If you are a quilter, or want to quilt as a ministry,
join us on every 3rd Thursday
Currently, we are quilting...
- Blankets for refugees, mostly in Europe
- Lap quilts for the Russell Home and for our church homebound
- Quilts for the new babies in our church
Hand made quilts open doors of God's love to many refugee families, and carry a very personal touch to the many others who receive them. We welcome 'quilters,' prayer, and fabric donations!

Operation Christmas Child
How do you say ‘Merry Christmas’
in a language you can’t speak?
By filling a shoebox with gifts and prayer.
Our church partners with Samaritan’s Purse in this project to share the message of Christmas with needy children all over the world. Millions of poor, sick, and suffering children will have these boxes hand delivered filled with toys, school supplies, candy, dolls, and other gifts.
These Christmas presents not only bring joy to precious children, they also open hearts to hear about God’s greatest gift through Jesus Christ!
This is a great family mission project.
You can use a decorated shoe box, or buy a plastic shoe box to put your gifts in. (The children love these boxes).
Collection day is the second Sunday in November

Hope Child
Sponsor a Hope Child for
only one dollar a day
We partner with World Vision and CBF, to help children and their communities worldwide reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty.
Hope Child sponsorship helps provide care (including HIV/AIDS care) for about one dollar a day. Our church is working with the Hope Child project in Kenya, near the area where we are helping Kenyans develop ministries for children and families.
This is a great project for a family, class, department or an individual.
