GOD: HIS EXISTENCE, NATURE, AND ATTRIBUTES
Leader: Dick A.
Knowledge of God should be the most important aim of life. Isaiah advised, “Seek ye the Lord, while He may be found.” And a wise man put it this way: “If there is no God, nothing matters. If there is a God, nothing else matters. This study will explore the biblical, rational, and scientific proofs of God’s existence, the various revelations of God’s nature in the Bible, the Persons of the Christian Godhead, the holy Names of God, the proximity of God to man, some misconceptions about God, the rival gods of other nations, some inferior intermediaries (priests, saints, elemental spirits, etc.), and the effect of the concept that “God is good” upon holding true and valid beliefs.
